My holiday time

The first week of holiday went away very fast. I didn't do anything special. But I really enjoyed the holiday. I have one more week holiday. It's soooooo good. Most of the time, I spent by reading several books. I like love stories, horror stories, detective stories etc.... I also watched some movies- Prajapathi, Photographer, Xmen 2, Liga etc. First two were malayalam films and the another two were English movies. Oh my gosh, Photographer was sooooooo boring and there were almost no dialogues. That is what is called boring:-)) And do you know???? I didn't see the film completely. Just for a 15 minutes. Then it was too much. My brother went into his room when the film started. He is not very fond of mal movies. My mother was trying to find something in the film interesting but there was nothing that interested her. My father was saying comments all the time like- what a movie is this? We can't see what's happening there, it's too dark. There are almost no dialogues in it. It is soooooooooooo boring. etc..... That's why we decided to stop watching this. It is really sad seeing Mohanlal acting in such films.
Prajapathi was not very different from Photographer but we could at least see the film completely. It was also a bit boring with his dialogues like in Vadakkanpattu movies. And the heroine hasn't got a role in that. She was in this film only to show that there is a heroine in this film. But the fim was O.K. Nedumudi Venu and Siddique did really good. I'm wondering why Renjith did such a movie. I think the stockes of directors like Renjith, Rajasenan, Sibi Malayil etc. are almost empty. They have no more good ideas in there heads. I hope their next films will be good.
I heard the songs from a new hindi film- I See You. It was really super. The songs "Subha Subha..." and "Kehna he..." are marvellous. The singer who sang the song "Subha subha..." is also the music director of that film. His voice is sooooo good. So many variations in his voice when he sings. I heard such a voice only by Hariharan. And I never heard a music director singing so super. Go and hear these songs. It's really worth to hear that.

Charlie and the chocolate factory

On saturday I saw the English movie- Charlie and the chocolate factory. It was really a great film. Johnny Depp was super in that film. It was a super scene when he meets his father at the end. The story line was so: The film tells the story of a poor young boy, Charlie Bucket (Peter Ostrum), who lives in a small home, with his parents and his four bedridden grandparents. Charlie is a bright, kindhearted boy who loves his family despite their shared hardships. Apart from his family, his greatest love in life is candy. Due to his family's extreme poverty he only receives one bar a year on his birthday.
Near to Charlie's house is the largest chocolate factory in the world, owned by Mr. Willy Wonka. Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) is the largest and most inventive and innovative producer of chocolate, producing all kinds of wonderful and delicious sweets, including some sweets that seem impossible (such as ice cream that never melts or chewing gum that never loses its flavour). He also creates a huge castle for Indian prince Pondicherry entirely out of chocolate, which melts shortly afterwards. As related by Charlie's Grandpa Joe , due to corporate espionage that came close to ruining the Wonka factory, Wonka closed his factory entirely, then later reopened it using mysterious never-seen workers.

After many years of this arrangement, Wonka, in a surprise move, decides to re-open his factory to the public, by initiating a lottery. Five Wonk Bars are sent out into the world which carry Golden Tickets hidden under their wrapping. Each ticket will admit the finder and one member of his/her family into the factory for a guided tour by the chocolate maker himself. The winners of the first four tickets eventually prove to be a pig-like boy called Augustus Gloop, a spoiled brat called Veruca Salt, a compulsive gum chewer named Violet Beauregarde and a television-obsessed little boy called Mike Teavee. As this happens, the poverty gripping Charlie's family tightens relentlessly. By a near miracle, and at the very last second, Charlie manages to find the last Golden Ticket.

The story shows us: who will win? What will happen to the other four kids? Who are Willy Wonkas mysterious workers? Who is actually Willy Wonka?

Dhoom 2

On last Friday I saw the film "Dhoom 2." The story was just horrible. So unlogic...... Anybody can make such a film when he has some money in his hand. Two huge jokes in the film that I found are: At the beginning, Hrithik (the high tech thief- A) escapes from all the bullet shoots that the security shoots at him. It was so ridiculous. The second thing that I noted is that with the diamond robbery. It was so difficult to believe that none of the securities (I think they were some kind of blind securities!!!!!!!) noticed that black thing crowling on the floor. Hey, come on, it was not a small thing like an ant. I know that it was moving only on the black lines even though any security will notice it with ease.
But the actors did a good job even though the film was stupid. Hrithik did the best performance in that film. He was just great!!! I love the film Krrish in which he performed super. Uday Chopra (Ali Akbar) did also a marvellous job. There were some funny moments only because of him. Abishek Bhachan did also good. He acted in his "special" way. Aishwarya Rai looks just horrible. I don't know why. But all her beauty is gone. She looks rather old. And her costumes were horrible. I'm wondering whether she has no more movies.

I can say without any doubt: the first Dhoom was very very much better than this one. If the second Dhoom had got a super script, the film would have become super duper.

Don

Yesterday, I saw a Hindi film- Don. The film was good. Most of the scenes were shot in foreign places like Kuala Lampur, etc. There are some scenes which are shot in India also, I think in Goa maybe. There are three actresses in this movie- Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Isha Gopikar. O.k., Kareena Kapoor appeared only in few scenes. I will just tell you the story line. The climax is super. You should see it yourself. Storyline is pretty simple as old DON, but its execution is what makes this movie different from the old one.The movie is about drug mafia Don (Shahrukh Khan) who gets seriously injured in the police chase and police commissioner DeSilva (Boman Irani) replaces the original Don with his look alike Vijay to find out root of the gang. But commissioner DeSilva dies in an encounter. And Vijay lands up in the jail with no proof which proves that he is Vijay not Don but he fights back to prove that he is Vijay.
Sharukh imitates the Big B (who was Don in the film in 1978) a little, but not extremely. There are some complications and long scenes in the film. But we can see it without boring. I found the songs not very good. My father said that the songs in the old DON were better. But there is one good song in it. It is "Aaj Ki Raat...." That song was cool with its mixed music- techno, melodious etc.

Yes, I did it. I've passed.

Yeah, I passed the training-course that lasted for long three months. Yes, I did it, I did it, I did it. I'm sooooo happy like never before. It was one of my happiest moment in my life. It was really a difficult task for me.
I got my result yesterday. At the last period, my class teacher came to the room and said us that we must come to the room number 19 after this period. I was so nervous, when I got into the room. Luckily, my best friend came with me also. That's why I wasn't alone. Six students from 26 students were in this training-period. All the five were boys. Only I was in this group as a girl. Anyway, I got into the room, my teacher asked me whether I would pass. I said in a nervous voice: "Yes." My teacher said: "Of course. You are the best one from all the six one." I was so happy and proud. My heart beat faster. I had to say it as quick as possible to my parents. I spent the long way to home by sitting restless in the tram. When I came at last at home, it just exploded from my mouth: "Pappa, Mummy, I've passed." The first hug was for my brother who opened the door. Then I ran to my mother and huged her and gave a kiss. My father came after an hour from his work. He was also very very very happy. At evening, we ordered a large pizza to enjoy my success. That was the first time that we ordered a pizza- from Domino Pizza. My father said that we can celebrate it on next weekend also. He said that we can call some friends also. I'm looking forward to enjoying that.
